maybe i misunderstood your goal, each time you update the version file the bot should notify the user of a new version even if is running ??
the script above will check in x time the http version file
1- start the script and click ok once "Load new file at github and start test"
2- wait +/- 7 seconds and update the new http version
3- see the results
