So I left my 2 Venture Trainers to run overnight to see what they would run into problem wise. One of them hit the community window thing. The second actually managed to get stuck at a belt while trying to "Warp to new asteroid belt". I manually warped to a station then reopened the mining tab and it did its thing. It got me thinking have you ever thought about using a custom overview for this thing? Could separate the belt warp to point and the actual asteroids into two different tabs. Would also open up the Ships tab to be customized by each individual user instead of you having to try to make the bot do everything. Want to ignore industrials? The User can remove them from the tab so they dont show up. Ignore corp/alliance/blue people? There are settings for that too in there. Would save ya the trouble of having the bot detecting icons for corp/alliance/blue and weather or not its an industrial etc
EDIT: Okay so apparently the standings setting dont work for the overview, but the ship types do.

I may have worded it poorly. As far as I know you can only have one overview open at a time, The 'tab' I was talking about was that drop down menu that has (All / Ships / Stations / Mining / Etc ) in it.
My idea was to use a custom made one instead of the 'default' one it normally uses. You could customize the sections to be something like ( Ships / Stations / Belts / Asteroids ) so when it warped to a new belt it would use the belt section, then move over to the asteroid section to look for stuff to mine. I would prevent the issue of being stuck at a belt while trying to 'warp to a new belt' and being unable to because it's full of rocks.
This would also open up the ability to use the Ships dropdown section to help with safety checks. The user could uncheck things like expedition frigates / mining barges so they wouldn't appear in the overview instead of having to let the bot detect if the ship in the overview is an industrial. If that makes sense.
Also after some experimenting the standing filter and the ships filter dont work together. So you could either filter ships or standings, but not both. Kinda strange

Out of curious did you use an app or something to make this? I kinda want to try to make a ratting one but my knowledge is limited. If there is a noob friendly tool to help make this stuff thatd be cool or if its just raw coding then im just out of luck

If there is a noob friendly tool to help make this stuff thatd be cool or if its just raw coding then im just out of luck Everything you need is provided here on the forums. Everything is powered by ANKULUA and LUA script language. There are tutorials and guides all over these forums regarding how to create scripts and how to get started. For instance when you load in this script to run you should see two other scripts added to ANKULUA by default. Those can be used to make simple routines or recordings with other advanced options available with a proper LUA code editor. (Also explained here on the forums)

* 29Sep2020 - version 3.5.2 - Fixed unloading of ore - Fixed closing of Eve Community dialog box - New feature Mining in different system (not yet fully tested) + A lot of idling which I believe to be an overview/scrolling issue. I have tested it on 1/3/5 options but it will still arrive at a belt, sit there even with ores in view and say it needs to warp to a new belt, but doesn't actually scroll down far enough to see the belts/clusters list. Although, at other random times it will warp to a belt with 1 ore 30km away and try to lock and approach. + Miners/Active miners stats seems to be a little off or perhaps I am misunderstanding what it is reading. -This most recent version 3.5.2 does run much smoother than previous versions. Kudos and keep up the great work, you're awesome!

Kudos and keep up the great work, you're awesome! Thanks. There are some issues which I don't have control i.e. game is not updating it consistently. It is more evident with my recent testing on mining on different system - it becomes more messy and I have to put a lot of other checking. The issue with the overview/scrolling is that the list at the beginning will give you a full list but then few seconds it will be shortened. I have to depend on the shorter list instead of the full list. Another thing, we also rely on time to check/compare images in the game. This is why delays are becoming more in some processes. I can change few things to check for colors instead of images but then game is not consistently giving the same color or shades of color. I have modified countless of time when checking for colors to give a more consistent bot steps/processes. One last thing, it is my first time coding in LUA. I'm not that familiar with all the available commands and still struggling to remember the syntax.

I am also experiencing issues with the latest release. The main issue is when it starts it will say "Select station" and hang trying to warp to a station. It always does this. Constantly trying to dock or warp to a station even if it's ready and able to mine. Not sure what is happening.

One last thing, it is my first time coding in LUA. I'm not that familiar with all the available commands and still struggling to remember the syntax. That makes complete sense as the miner staying active issue is usually when the ore targeted gets eaten by a retriever. (Once you unlock retrievers, your code will simplify immensely, it will be the targeted venture routines that will keep challenging the code.) I would prefer a somewhat slower process for image comparison than a broken/inaccurate bot. Although I would prefer changes to be a little labor-intensive on your end as possible. Although this is your first time with LUA you are doing great, you can see the improvements reflected in the code execution and you take the feedback here well. Keep doing the great work, support you 100%, and willing to help if needed.
