Keep the file structure when untarring. There must be file tools/lua5.1

There should be folders tools and daemon at the same place of run.bat
Run following command in command line. tar xzvf ama_daemon.v1.31.tar.gz

Hey man. I am on vacation and didn't think about my tablet dying. Does this work on a Mac? That's the only computer I brought with me.
NVM I'll report back when I get to my destination.

noob question, ive downloaded both versions mac and windows. i've tried multiple methods of getting this to run on linux. ive gone threw and tried virtual box but i couldnt get the script to register my phone. then went threw and tried wine for linux. still nothing. ive tested adb and connecting to my s7 threw just adb and i can restart the phone into bootloader mode so adb seems to be working. is there anyway i theres a simple method to do this on linux?

well i cant get the scripts to open in linux so what would be the most likely want to run a script threw linux? like i said i get adb to register the phone and even issue commands so if i knew the process i might be able to do a manual run. if it works i may be able to compile a script that works on linux.

No it does not work on Mac. Files are untarred properly and it says "./tools/lua5.1: no such file or directory"
What now? I'm on vacation for three weeks. -_-

Make sure you didnt accidently unpackage just one item out of the folder. if you dont you have a whole bunch of files and folders then you have unpacked them incorrectly.

I got daemon installed without much trouble on my s7 so I could run some scripts for ffbe and have been using it for about a week. Just now it's telling me daemon isn't installed. Anyone else have this problem? If I have to reinstall daemon all the time, I'll be pretty upset and just file for a refund

After rebooting, you need to reinstall daemon.
