Neither of the top two methods work and I'd rather not install daemon when I already have root. Could I bypass the error through using different scripts/ writing my own scripts?

I am having this problem constantly:

It's the problem with daemon. You should try root. What's your device?

No. (Mac is considered one kind of PC.) If doable, then there is no such limitation.

It's the limitation of Android system. thank you, have any way to install daemon on rooted device and don't need PC ? The Ankulua daemon installer is very good, as it is a V small file, and it doesn't require admin permission. I know this as it works both at school, and home, with a 'child' account. Hope this helps! You could also try it out at work...

Hi, a friend got this error and since no way to get the script working. Any idea ? It worked 3 month without any issue before (Samsung Note 3) ÉDIT : Solved ! Have to restart daemon.
