Hey, I tried using AnkuLua on my Xiaomi Mi i4 phone, unfortunately without much success. For the record, the phone is rooted and root access is enabled for the application. When starting the application and attempting to run the example, to verify working functionality, everything works up to the point of starting the daemon.
The GUI indicates that it was successfully started, but the buttons shown in the introduction video don't appear at the bottom of the screen, regardless of screen mode. This makes it impossible to actually run any script without purchasing the Pro version -- so I did.
I enabled the start and stop script via volume key feature and attempted to run the example script -- unfortunately no indication was shown that the Lua file was even run, forcing me to refund the purchase.
I realize that solving this issue is a long shot, seeing as MIUI seems to be generally a bit more obscure than stock Android ROMs, however I would be glad if you could consider tracking down the problem, as there seems to be no better alternatives to AnkuLua. Maybe the 64 bit operating system is the issue? Would it be possible to run MIUI in some kind of emulator to debug the issue? If so, the specific version is: 7.0.3.0.
Greetings, cryzed

Then we are afraid that we can not help. And the start and stop script via volume key feature is only available in pro version. We don't have the device. And don't know how to emulate the ROM. Sorry.

Yes, as I said in the original post, I even purchased the pro version temporarily and tried it with those volume key features enabled, without any success. Ah, I was afraid of that. That's unfortunate but understandable. EDIT: Ah, I just figured it out! It was the built-in permission manager having automatically disabled the "Display pop-up window" permission for AnkuLua. Once I manually re-enabled it and pressed "start service" button it was displayed correctly and runs: i.imgur.com/5GT4Ueq.png! Awesome . It now also seems to execute the example script successfully.
