Currently having an issue figuring something out, I've been all over google for the last 20 hours trying to get this! I need the script to click "Channel" in the upper right. then type in a channel, starting at 100, increasing by 1 until it reaches 110. I've tried every method of inputting text I could find (only two) and they only support strings. I don't know enough about string manipulation to know if having a static string value is even possible. But yeah, any ideas friends? I'm not looking to spam a game with this, this is simply a clean analogy for what I really need done.

I guess I'm misunderstanding what will happen here. type("1~9999.png", "" .. channelNum) Will I need to link images to each of the numbers on the keypad? How will that line there work?

You don't need the keypad images. Type() behaves as there is a real keyboard.

You don't need the keypad images. Type() behaves as there is a real keyboard. I understand that completely. But when I put that code you gave me, I get the same thing I've done 100 different ways today. It just enters the same channel over and over. I can't get the math to work into that string. channelNum = 100 while true do if (existsClick("chatcheck.png")) then type("") existsClick("done.png") end if (existsClick("channel.png")) then channelNum = channelNum + 1 type("" .. channelNum) existsClick("done.png") end if channelNum >= 110 then channelNum = channelNum - 10 end end Will that return me to 100 when its done? Thank you! It does. Thank you again. I've been stumped all weekend. What does that type line do? How does it do that?

Lastly, how can I speed up the typing? Is there a paste() command?

Thanks again, case solved. what do the two dots before a function/variable mean?

In lua, two dots means string concatenation.

In lua, two dots means string concatenation. Gotcha. I had been stumped all day! Thanks though, and sorry for the vagueness.
