I have been using
getNewestVersion = loadstring(httpGet("https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Paladiex/PalPowerUp/master/version.lua")) latestVersion = getNewestVersion() currentVersion = dofile(localPath .."version.lua") if currentVersion == latestVersion then toast ("You are running the most current version!") else httpDownload("https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Paladiex/PalPowerUp/master/version.lua", localPath .."version.lua") httpDownload("https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Paladiex/PalPowerUp/master/PalPowerUp.lua", localPath .."PalPowerUp.lua") scriptExit("You have Updated PalPowerUp bot!") end The above works well for single .lua scripts. However if I add any images to the image directory users would still need to manually install those images.
I am using anoter .lua file that just batch downloads images 1 by 1 from github like:
httpDownload("https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Paladiex/PalPowerUp/master/images/image1.png", localPath .."images/image1.png") httpDownload("https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Paladiex/PalPowerUp/master/images/image2.png", localPath .."images/image2.png") httpDownload("https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Paladiex/PalPowerUp/master/images/image3.png", localPath .."images/image3.png") httpDownload("https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Paladiex/PalPowerUp/master/images/image4.png", localPath .."images/image4.png")
Does anyone know of a more efficient way to download new directories automatically?

This could be interesting... Or a way to unzip files.
