FAQ
Q1: It doesn't work
A: I'm sorry to hear that, and I believe you, but if you just tell me that, I won't be able to help at all. Tell me your configuration and send me (privately) your log.txt file (it is located near the main.luae2 file). I won't reply anymore to those who don't bother to provide me with this information.
Q2: Tasks take a long time to trigger
A: To reduce the risk of being spotted, all timings are added a random time. This time is in seconds, so if you have a task set to check periodically every 600 seconds, and if the random time is between 120 and 600, your task will be run between 12 and 20 minutes. Tweak these numbers until the behavior suits you.
We strongly advise you to not set these values to zero, that will only make you run the risk of being considered as a bot (well, you are, in fact)
Q3: "Sell junk" check works strangely
A: You have the choice between two very different methods: "Over 100%" or "Custom". The first one will only check the little overweight man icon, and triggers immediately the return to the city. The second one will only check at a given interval, clicking on the weight icon and reading the percentage value.
The first one is more precise and faster, the second one more secure in term of being spotted.
Q4: Potions and Pet food buy random amounts instead of what I put in settings
A: The amount bought will be the number in settings minus the amount left. If you enter 150 in settings and have 142 left, it will just buy 8.
Q5: I see errors in the log file saying something like "cannot find xxx" or "action xxx failed"
A: A large majority of images in BDM have transparency, so it may happen that on some backgrounds, the script doesn't find the required image. It will probably find it on the next check. Please report only if some task "never" executes
Q6: Is this script safe, do I risk to be banned using it?
A: Short answer: Yes, you can be banned for using this script
Long answer: automation is prohibited by PA, so if you're caught using this script (or any other if that matters), they'll ban you for 7 days, then forever if they catch you again: Actions Against Usage of Unauthorized Programs
That said, I'm not aware of anyone getting banned using this script.
