What are some tricks to get scripts to work properly on devices with softkeys? I have a rooted device with 1920x1080 res. I have tried root apps that remove softkeys, but when I use them the scripts do not work at all.

Softkeys? Doesn't every real device have soft keys?

There is no requirement for those soft keys (navigation bar).
If any problem, ask the script author.
