I followed the instructions and successfully made a luac file from my lua script, but when I try to run it in AnkuLua, it either gives me an unknown error 6, or simply causes the AnkuLua service to become unresponsive. Any insight into this matter? It's strange because an earlier file I compiled into luac worked perfectly fine, but this one does not.

Make sure that you compile the lua with 32-bit version 5.1.x luac. www.dropbox.com/s/lf7kfrc06eury3o/luac5.1.exe?dl=0That's all we can guess.

Just tried it again to be sure using the version from the link you provided; still the same problem. It doesn't make any sense to me why it worked before but doesn't now :/ Also, sort of on the same subject; when I use the encrypt scripts feature in the AnkuLua app, the luae file seems to work perfectly fine, 'until' I move it out of the folder it was encrypted. Simply moving it out of the folder, then moving it back in causes the script not to work. An empty dialogue box appears whenever trying to run it, and nothing else happens. So, in my current position, I have no way at all to secure my script, which is making me weary of sharing it.

How did you move the file? How did you transfer files from PC to Android devices? It seems that the file is corrupted during moving.
Try zip the file before moving. Than unzip after moving.

Thanks for the recommendation, but sadly it's acting the same way. It seemed to have worked the first time I tried zipping, moving, and unzipping, but then I tested it again, the same exact way, and it no longer works. Just weird; not making any sense to me.

I just tried recreating the error that appeared prior but cannot. Currently, here is everything I can provide: I'm using Windows 10, with a rooted version of BlueStacks. My transfer method has been copying and pasting the files into the BlueStacks shared folder, then running the scripts from that folder in AnkuLua. At this point, trying to run my luac file causes the AnkuLua service to seem to go unresponsive, because hitting the play button causes it to change to the stop button, but then the script does not run and I have to use the stop service button in the app to get the stop button to go away. Trying to encrypt any file within the AnkuLua app is resulting in a loading bar saying 'encrypting files' with no progress, forcing me to force close the app from the app switcher. If I get any other weird results I'll be sure to screenshot them, but that's what I seem to be working with at the moment.

People reported filed changed for some unknown reason. We use syncme without problem. play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bv.wifisync

I tried using syncme, but really wasn't a fan, but I avoided using the BS Shared folder, and it works perfectly now! Disappointing it can't be as easy as dragging and dropping to go from PC to BS, but oh well, it works, lol. Thank you for the help! This has been taking up way too much time trying to fix.

Will put it into the file sync section.
